Long Valley Preservation Society

The Roseberry Townsite is home to the Valley County Museum and is governed by the Long Valley Preservation Society.The current LVPS Board of Directors consists of: Jim Vance (President), Dean Jones (VP), Kathy Jones (Secretary), Judy Wallace (Treasurer), Lori Powell, Lynda Vance, Phyllis Bulgin, and Karen Denevan. Jett Johnson is the Events and Weddings Coordinator, and Tom Schmidt is the Groundskeeper.

Long Valley Preservation Society was established in 1973. Our goal is to collect, preserve, interpret and display Valley County history at the Roseberry Museum Complex.

On August 31, 1973, the Long Valley Preservation Society was formed. Articles of Incorporation were filed with the Valley County Recorder for the Idaho Non-Profit Corporation, dedicated to collecting and preserving the history of Roseberry and Long Valley.

Original Board members were Frank Eld, Lucile Green, Ada Fern Kessler, Velma Shoemaker, Ella Eld, Bud Corbin, and Ray Nissula.
